No, No, No, this just won't do. This silliness of dressing up as mimes is intolerable even back in 1968. However, I have a bigger axe to grind. Nobody is happy 100% of the time, and listening to this album is making me very unhappy. Does everyone see the dichotomy?
Everything has improved on this album. The writing, production, and delivery are pretty solid if you remember the Hello People are a created group. Some of the songs use an airy breezy jazz construction and nothing here is really bad. It's ok to be the only known rock group to dress up as five mimes if your record displays some decent material. A collector interested in the Hello People would be well served to start here.
